- Description: Over the past decade, Noel has overseen art direction & styling for more than 30 complex, multi-day product & editorial photoshoots for luxury brands like Godiva Chocolatier, Wedgwood China and Waterford Crystal.
As art director of photography, Noel's duties included:
- Planning & Strategy: Meet with Client to preview products, identify target audience, branding & tactical goals of campaign
- Creative Vision: Brainstorming, ideation, sketches and creative brief to define creative deliverables and validate creative strategy
- Pre-shoot Direction: Scouting & acquisition of props, backgrounds & locations, model selection, sketches, mockups & test-shots for Client sign-off of creative concept
- Photoshoot Art Direction: On-set collaboration with Client, Photographer & Stylists regarding shot-lists, requirements of each shot, artistic treatment (lighting, composition, styling, camera angle, focus, relative scale, etc), troubleshooting & resolving production issues and ensuring that each shot meets Client's requirements
- Post-Production: Coordination with retouchers & post-production staff to ensure flawless final output (color correction, retouching, resolution, etc)
